Annette Dupart receives a phone call from her brother Boudreaux Dupart telling her that he has just entered into a contract to become the owner-operator of a Chevrolet-Cadillac dealership in Biloxi, Mississippi. His buy-in was $50,000. Annette warns him that if it is too good to be true, it probably is. Car Dealer Wilber DeRoss's car runs off the road into a bayou and is killed when his car hits a tree. His entire estate is left to a notorious madam in Biloxi. Wilber's family is understandably upset along with other potential heirs. Boudreaux asks for is sister's help for her expertise in car dealership accounting. People related to the dealership begin to die terrible deaths. Local law enforcement led by a young county criminal investigative officer, Captain Xavier Stewart, Known as Captain Z, looks into the string of ghastly events.
