Pitiless Parodies and Other Outrageous Verse

It opens up with a fun variation of "Old Father WIlliam"(from Alice in Wonderland) and later revisits it again with "You are Old Henry Aaron" which although I'm not a sports fan... was very funny! My favorites were the Mother Goose Meets the environment and Mother Goose around the world. There is a poem dediacted to Shwarzenegger which was obviously written before he was governor.. I'd like to see the last stanza on THAT revised edition! LOL. If your sense of humor leans towards the sarcastic and is slightly bookish... you may well enjoy this. I am not a sports fan, so I skipped over most of those sections. Some are a little dated (The Saga of At & T), but that didn't detract much from the timeless parodies.
