Nursing diagoses are listed for the intrapartum and postpartum period. Culterally sensitive care is discussed as well. Documentation, risk reduction, and education are discussed. Appendixes add information on risk factors, Leopold's maneuvers, protocals of cervical ripending, care of patients in preterm labor with information on tocolytics, and sample tracings are given. This book is an excellent guide and may be used for reference after its initial reading.
