This small paperback is highly readable, interesting and well researched. I regularly rely upon the arguments and documentation inPolicy and Practice to make the case for the field of social work to better prepare students to work in the challenging field of criminal and juvenile justice. All the chapters in this text are up-to-date and persuasive. Were I teaching a course in forensic social work,this book would be my first choice.
