She catches herself reading longer than the required time for her homework. I'm all for her being interested in reading and not just any reading but good stories for her age. I'm amazed she started reading these chapter books in Kindergarten. She has this color series, the animals series and she is getting the weather series for Christmas.

My daughter (5) doesn't read yet, but she was enthralled by the Rainbow Magic books. We purchased this one to complete our collection. They are very well written, and appropriate for the age group. Oh, and these books make her want to read!

My daughter loves this series of books - the biggest problem we have is that she won't stop after one chapter. She's 5, so we do most of the reading, she'll read a paragraph or two, but we do that's it for now. It won't be long before she'll be re-reading them herself. This is the 6th book in the series of rainbow fairy books. My daughter (almost 6) absolutely loves these books and they are a great introduction to chapter books.
