A quick glance through the index told me this book is a gold mine for long-wanted recipes. The Baked Bean with Molasses sauce and the Southwestern Chickpeas are on deck for tomorrow's canning frenzy. The various tomato recipes are going to be on deck for next year's garden. I've already started going through and adding the little markers on 'OOOOO... gotta try THIS!!' recipes. If anyone is new to canning, this book will be a good addition to your bookshelf. Everything is well explained, step by step instructions and the photos are top notch. I've been canning for longer than I care to think about, and the recipes have checked all the right boxes. Great book and no weird or expensive oddball ingredients. You need this book!
