Good exciting read

Well written, fast paced with interesting characters, twists and turns and a somewhat surprising ending. Although the “monster” is central the focus is on the characters and the subplots not just chapter after chapter of the characters fighting or being eaten. Reading the second book in the series Overlord now and it is just as exciting.
