Tessa Banks has been Prince Sebastian Stone of Caspia's personal assistant for five years and feels like life is passing her by. When she gives her notice to quit her job and move to California with the man she is dating, Sebastian refuses to let her go. He needs her to keep his professional and private life organized, especially in a time of confusion like his business Caspia Designs. Sebastian knows of one surefire way to keep his women in his life, and that is through seduction. Now Sebastian is using all his talents to keep Tessa at his side. What better place to do that then the sun-drenched beaches and towns of his homeland. However, Sebastian forgot to factor one very important thing into the equation... his heart. Sebastian is everything a woman could possibly want in a man. He's gorgeous, charming, one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, rich as sin, will be the future ruler of his own country, and goes after what he wants with zeal. Unfortunately, all of these things mean he is so far out of Tessa's league she couldn't even begin to hope for anything more than a business relationship, no matter how much hidden attraction to the man she has. Tessa has struggled to make a life for herself and this job was a good break when she needed it. However, affairs of the heart make it difficult for her since Sebastian is such a playboy she can't imagine him ever settling down, let alone with a working class woman like herself. Sebastian doesn't know what a good thing he has until he's about to lose it. Once Sebastian turns his considerable charisma on Tessa there is no turning back. Watching Sebastian, the Prince of Midtown, fall in love and seeing Tessa come to realize if she leaves her job and Sebastian that she'd be settling for less than she deserves provides a wonderful escape that is as entertaining as it is romantic. One thing I've come to see is that Jennifer Lewis has an amazing ability to paint a picture with her words. She has remarkable talent for world building. I fell in love with the decadence of his homeland, from beautiful beaches to breathtaking mountains, to the quaint town modernized with an abundance of luxury boutiques. I could feel the sea air blowing across my face and smell the invigorating mountain air. I loved the visit to Sebastian's beloved Caspia. If only this country was a real place! © Kelley A. Sebastian hadn't realized that Tessa has never been to Caspia but views it as the perfect opportunity to enlist her aid in solving the Caspia Designs issue while sharing the beauty of his country with her. Of course he quickly realizes that he's very attracted to her and when she lets her hair down and allows herself to have fun she's the most exciting and fun woman he's ever met. There's just this little issue of him being a prince and her being nothing but an American commoner. Tessa dreams of a happily ever after, but can she really have that with a real live prince? PRINCE OF MIDTOWN is the third book in the PARK AVENUE SCANDAL series. I loved the whimsical feeling to this story . . . it's a modern day Cinderella story that will charm readers. I fell in love with Caspia and felt like I could have fit right in amongst the citizens there. Tessa is a hard worker who focuses on her job and doesn't take much time to enjoy herself but Sebastian is just the man to help her loosen up. Jennifer Lewis tells a heart-touching tale with some fun and warm scenes that especially touched my heart and at times brought tears to my eyes.
