I have read two of shannon Drakes novels, I have read Princess of Fire and Blue heaven Black Night, and I have fallen in love with her work. I am 13 years old, and have read these books over ten times each, I got princess of fire near fathers day and fell in love with it. It describes the bondaging between two people and the quality time spent with each other, the strugles and hardships, and trust that went on. In Blue heaven Black Night it describes similar things, and how two people had to lear to trust each other. I think that all you need is time and you can fall in love with someone enen though you may not think alot alike. my parents don't want me to read romance novels, even if their are historical, they don't think that it is good for me to think of sex, but how will you know and about it if you don't read, will you do it, or wait till marrige? I will wait, but I will still read out standing books if I want, and no one can stop me.

I am an avid fan and collector of Shannon Drake books and thought that this book was wonderful and exciting! Yes, people may be disturbed by some of the content, but that was what happened back then! I find the way the men conquer the women to be exciting and interesting. In fact I found this book so wonderful that I named my newborn son Alaric after the hero. I think if people don't agree with the content of violence in romance, then they should read Harlequin or books that don't contain explicit sexual situations. But, if you don't mind that kind of stuff and like a little bit of the erotic themes than these books are for you!

The first of S. Drake's books that I have read, a story of forbidden love and extreme passion. A must read. I could not put it down. Fallon and Alaric have an undeniable chemistry that won't let you go until the end. Even then it isn't over! Check out the next in the series, Knight of Fire, which deals with their son Bret. Also a must read!!
