Professional Guide to Assessment (Professional Guide Series) I am beginning a RN Nursing program and was interested in finding a good book on doing assessments. This book looks to be both complete and very understandable. The price is really great used too! The book isn't super big so it doesn't break your arm to carry it which is good for a clinical setting. I love the diagrams and photos they really make understanding easy. Starting out I need to do blood pressure readings and this book shows a body diagram and discusses all the possible sites etc. A one stop book for how to do all kinds of assessments From Health histories, the big Physiological list and on to Neurologic and Neonate assessments! Even gives advice for how ask the client-patient in the right way. I am not an expert but this book I believe will help make me one!
