This book deals with the most essential elements of computer graphics, namely analytic geometry and programming. It aims to stimulate and improve programming skills in a device-independent manner. All the algorithms discussed are expressed in complete ready-to-run programs, using simple line-drawing primitives. The C programming language, used throughout, is explained for those who are not yet familiar with this versatile language.
This book has useable examples and provides understandableand concise explanations of the complex subject of 3D computer graphics.Yes this book won't choke a horse, but just because it isconcise does not mean that it isn't a good 3D computer graphicsbook. The choice of plainly written C makes the examples easyto translate into other languages such as Java or Perl.

The Booknews review is very uninformed. One can not do computer graphics without matrix algebra. If you just want to draw things on your screen this is not the book for you. If, however you need to learn about a specific aspect of fundamental graphics programming this is a book to consider.
