Have you ever read a book and then ordered copies for special people you know... people who just might need a measure of what the book is about? Then do yourself - and them - a favor and get Proverbial Wisdom & Common Sense. I'm reading it again more slowly, and am just amazed at how relevant it is to what is going on in the world today.

As the author of the book, it wouldn't be fair for me to rate it, but I would like to tell people what the book is about. Proverbs is a perennial favorite in Christian reading. I have written a devotional commentary, divided into short daily readings, to help you digest the teachings of Proverbs. I always relate my discussion to contemporary topics and issues and bring a knowledge of Jewish interpretation to the task.
