Two twisted killers for the price of one! Walker has a real knack for creating some pretty sick and twisted killers, and this book is a prime example. The suspense builds up well and the action is well paced. The addition of Dr. Desinor, who has such a different outlook from Jessica, adds an interesting layer to the story. This is one of those 'lock the doors and hide under the covers because this is going to creep you out' kind of book.
Walker's Jessica Coran keeps the pages turning!

I don't know what book the last reviewer read, but it definitely could not have been Walker's Pure Instinct. Obviously, he/she had never read any of Walker's previous Coran thrillers. Jessica Coran has been face to face and a victim of a slasher and a blood-letting, blood-saving vampire. How that is "ordinary" is beyond my comprehension, but maybe I haven't been living in the same world as some of the rest of us.
