RPT No change for outside, new inside So wrong for each other...AND YET SO RIGHT. No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can PUSH THE LIMITS and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her HOW TO LOVE AGAIN. "McGarry details the sexy highs, the devastating lows, and the real work it takes to build true love." --Jennifer Echols, author of Such a Rush
This book was interesting and engaging. It's a high school romance, but don't be mislead: this book was well researched, had understandable characters with VERY real world problems, and developed nicely. I like the characters, Noah and Echo: you just want to cheer them on and hope that they figure things out! Like a lot of other YA books, this had them "speaking" every other chapter (Echo one chapter, Noah the next, and so on), which is odd, but rather enjoyable as you get both perspectives at once. This book is high-school level reading for the things that are talked about in this book (mental health, the Foster-care system, and mild suggestiveness). I have to admit that I really liked this book and I look forward to reading other stories from this author!
