Originally I bought this book for a college course, and was happy to find information within it that expanded my thinking about quality within industries. The book goes very in-depth about quality, from the history about America's shift away from quality after WWII, to how quality is managed today, to all the little nuances that can affect quality in a system. The information was very well put together and reading through is enjoyable because of it. I do have one complaint about the book. After each chapter, Michael Speegle(as always) has a review question section where you can test your learning of the most important parts of each chapter. Some of these review questions, I have found, cannot be answered at all or thoroughly enough just by reading the book. If Speegle deemed this information pertinent to a full understanding of the chapters subject, he should have included the information in his book. However there are only a few of those in the entire reading, the book is outstanding aside from that and highly recommended for anyone interested in quality concepts.
