Linda Sacha has captured very clearly many of the 'ills' that women face simply because they are afraid to ask as well as afraid to listen. Give Queen for a Day to everyone you love. Give Yourself Permission to be loved again. Give those in your life permission to love you and love themselves too. We get to remember that life is really meant to be fun and this book helps remind us. I love this book. I loved getting this as a gift --reading it gave me some deep insights, ideas and more importantly permission! Permission to give MYSELF permission. Wow! What a concept! It's time we took some time to just be cherished and step aside for a few moments from all our responsibilities; drink from the well and refresh ourselves. This book shows you how to you help those around you--helps you, in easy ways, to communicate ways to make it easy for them to celebrate and support you in just the way you want. This book caught me by surprise. I thought it would be "cute." It wasn't. It's more like a sacred event. Somehow Sacha breathes new perspective into the magical act of self-love. I already love and honor my birthday, but it feels like my birthday goddess has been kicked in her regal butt and raised to a new level! I really get it now: Obey the Queen and all shall be well.

After reading Queen for a Day I decided that I wanted a Spa experience with some of my buddies. So I got a group together and we did it! On the first day of the month. So now I get to continue being a princess for the whole month, if I can get away with it. One of the best parts about the spa day was that the girls were all spa virgins, never having been to such a luxurious place with services, lunch by the pool, snuggly robes, big fluffy towels, every imagineable cream and lotion for our use, fresh fruit and several pools and hot tubs. So all of my friends got to be Queens for the Day! It just doesn't get any better. Thanks, Sacha. I never would have even dreamed of this had I not read your book.

We are all Queens deserving to celebrate ourselves for a change, this is what Queen for a day is all about, Us! It is time for us! I loved it! Woman take care of the world, it is time to take care and do some thing wonderful for ourselves. I loved this and keep it on my coffee table to remember to take time for me. Ps. I bought many copies and give them to my girl friends on there birthday.
