Curtains are most definitely NOT quick and easy to make. That said, I absolutely loved this book. I had zero sewing experience when I bought this book and managed to make curtains for my entire house. Twelve windows! I decided to skip the bathrooms. It was not quick nor particularly easy, but following the instructions in this book I was successful. I made the cafe curtains, tie top curtains, two tone panel, pinch pleat draperies, lined swedish shade, lined roman shade, instant curtains. Though not exactly featured I also made some very simple rod pocket sheers, with and without headings. If you are serious about making your own curtains this book is for you! It will be very helpful to have a very large table at your disposal. Also I learned that the best way to cut fabric in a straight line is to pull out a thread and use the space left as a guide. This will make all the difference in your finished product. The photographs in this book feature fairly contemporary fabrics. I found the pictures inspiring!
