Raffaele Orsini doesn't want a wife... But when he meets his arranged bride Raffaele feels honor bound to marry her. She's not what he was expecting...but her dowdy clothes can't hide her lusciously feminine figure or her wildcat temperament Chiara Cordiano will not love her husband She's tried everything to avoid her fate, but in the blink of an eye Chiara is swept away from her quaint Sicilian town to New York She wants to hate Rafe, but seduction is in his blood. With his dark, brooding looks and tempting masculinity, she'll be purring like a kitten
I won't go into detail because others have already done so. Refer to Marilyn's review. LOVED this one. Wonderful hero and heroine. Great emotion and laughs.
Raffaele: Taming His Tempestuous Virgin

Sandra Marton works her magic in New York City again. We get swept away by Rafe's charm, and are as deeply moved by Chiara's situation. Although the title is a mouthful, the story is a fast read and leaves you smiling. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance. It is emotionally-charged to the end. It was fun to see how Rafe and Chiara struggled with the attraction and the forced marriage. Rafe is a sweetheart, and Chiara is a perfect match. Toni Kroening

Sandra Marton is one of my favourite romance authors and she has proved herself again. This story is truly what a romance story is supposed to be. It is really romantic and for once the hero isn't a jerk. Rafaelle is arrogant and strong but a complete sweetheart who falls crazy in love with the leading lady, even though he shows signs of being one of the typical overbearing alpha males so preferred in romances, he changes as soon as he realises he is being a jerk and tries to change himself conceiously. The leading couple is extremely cute together and the story shows how they start liking each other first instead of falling headlong into lust. They are both proud characters and strong as they come and know what they want and when they fall they fall hard. The best part is that they are not cruel to each other and genuinely like one another. This story has the quintessential shotgun wedding and is handled really well by Ms. Marton and she does not over do it with the soul searching. The dialogue is funny, witty and touching and very realistic. My personal favourite is when Rafaelle first encounters Chiara and she knees him in the gonads, very funny. The secondary characters who are the Orsini brothers are great, the relationship shown between them is really what one would expect between close brothers, and each will have a story so I'm really looking forward to reading about them. Although the story is similar to The disobedient virgin, it is still a quick easy and very cute read. Apart from the silly circumstances of their marriage, this story is not only romantic it is also very believable and realistic in how a couple who do not know each other fall in love. Next story is Dante's and really looking forward to it and hopefully it will be as good as this one.
