Very funny stuff -- Peterson has an offbeat sense of humor. Also it's an interesting format -- part travel guide, part more personal travel stories. It would be great to take this book along as you take one of the road trips in the bok.

A great travel book that gives you information on the off-beat attractions that inhabit the American road. The author's first person narratives are a nice change from the impersonal descriptions of most travel guides. I enjoy picking this up just sitting at home.
