LION DREAM

Little ghetto boy trying to hold on to nothing Each day a challenge trying to get home from school No daddy in the picture for protection I can't say much of that was cool

But my dreams were my escape I expected them to take me to a better place

I met a lion in my dream A lion in my dream I did not expect I was not so keen I saw a lion in my dream The scariest lion the first I had ever seen The lion chased me all night and made me weak I decided to give up I was his meal to eat Then the dream ended I told nobody I wanted it out of my mind soul and my body

Next night all forgotten the lion was waiting I ran as fast as I could screaming Than something came over me like courage I turned around and stood up to a frighten lion hence what you can do with courage My lion dream was for a reason My maker knew I was in short supply of strength It took me years to figure it out but meanwhile I never backed down from anything anybody for any reason
