I love all the RD Music books but not this one! It is an "easy play" edition which means there is no life in the music. I didn't know it was a simplified book as they are always crummy no matter who publishes. This one is just YECH, & even if u r a beginner, these books are not good to learn from. If u are intermediate or beyond you will hate this book! It really strips the oomph! out of the music making it totally bland & not sounding much like the original. You can sit down & play the songs right away, but why bother! They're awful! There are other RD Music books that are FAR SUPERIOR & FUN to play, with Dan Fox as arranger, very full beautifully close to original sound that you should buy instead. This one is a total dud.

Another one of the great Reader's Digest series of songbooks. They are all great arrangements and easy to play for a level 4 player. There is everything to enjoy with any of these books.
