discusses globalisation's effects

This recent book is the latest in Massey's long running series. Just over 20% of the selections here are new; ie. not in the 4th edition. Massey gives emphasis on topics that have garnered recent broad interest. Especially globalisation. We see speculations on the societal repercussions of this, where the societies are those of the developed countries. Equally interesting would also be investigations of the rippling effects on the developing countries that are benefiting from outsourcing.
