This book is a good read for a CHENG to be. written in 1997, it came just before the major changes in training, but it lays the framework for a sound engineering department. I am in the Navy Medical Service Corps, and having served aboard ship know that nothing happens in medical without the good graces of our brothers and sisters in engineering. It is a behind the scenes job that has the respect of ever marine or sailor onboard. LCDR Bruhn's book although written for engineers has a few words of wisdom of leadership in today's Navy. It's a great read for any Navy leader, regardless of ones department within the ship.
