It's not easy to keep a boyfriend, run a business, and survive for centuries as one of the immortal undead. Glory St. Clair knows-ever since a sexy Scottish vampire bit her while she was a tad...bloated. But when a frustrated vampire hunter firebombs her vintage clothing boutique, she's ready to pitch a fit. Then her long-time, part-time lover takes off in a rage to hunt the hunter and prove himself worthy of her. And that's only the beginning of her troubles. The Energy Vampires want her-and not in a good way. They're paranormal drug dealers, selling thrills to those who've lived for ages, been everywhere, and done everything...and they want to suck Glory dry. But it'll take more than a few super-suckers to get the goods out of her.
this was an excellent continuation of the first I LOVED THEM BOTH VERY WELL WRITTEN AND ENTERTAINING CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE

I loved this book and can't wait for more with Glory. I get tired of reading books about the "perfect" woman. It's good to read about a woman who's not some skinny minnie. This was an enjoyable book to read and it made ma laugh a lot.
Real Vamps II is Even Better!

If you loved Real Vampires Have Curves, prepared to be wowed by Real Vampires Live Large. Glory St. Clair, the curvaceous, centuries old vamp, thanks to a man, is back and fighting off evil forces determined to mess with her independence. Also back is her maker and on/off again lover, yummy Jeremy Blade. When Glory's vintage clothing shop is fire-bombed, Jeremy is convinced that vampire hunter Westwood (introduced in the first book) is responsible. But this time, there are Energy Vampires (EVs) determined to steal Glory's stored-up power -- in order to make Vampire Viagra. Real Vampires Have Curves is even funnier, hotter, and more action-packed than Real Vampires Live Large. The chemistry between Jeremy and Glory is even stronger, and Glory's first person narration is every bit as compelling as in the first book. Glory is the sort of character you don't forget because she's like your best friend --with lovable imperfections and a big heart. If you missed book one, never fear. Bartlett makes it easy for new readers to jump into Real Vampires Live Large. My recommendation is to buy both, however, because after you read one, you'll want the other. Trust me, Bartlett's Vamp books are like potato chips -- you can't read just one!
Another Glory Adventure

This book is even better that the first "Real Vampires Have Curves". Once again we delve into the life of Ms. Gloriana St. Clair, and her relationships within the vamp community of Austin, Texas. Westwood, the vamp hunter, is still out there, but now Glory is also dealing with a group called the EV's who want to tap her power. Glory had her store burned, Blades left town to hunt Westwood down, a creepy ex is stalking her,and along with Valdez she has a new "protector" all while dealing with her famous curves. What I like best about this book, is the fact that Glory is finding her footing, she's finally getting more independent and powerful in her own right. Life keeps throwing objects in her path and she's dealing with them without also running the Blade. It's a great read, very funny and makes me look forward to her next adventure.

Glory returns in another installment from the exceptionally talented Gerry Bartlett! I loved this book even more than the first. Bartlett actually creates a vampire world that the reader can relate to. And she also makes us laugh!!!! Glory's character is touching, funny, sexy--everything a vamp should be and more. Keep them coming, Ms. Bartlett!! I can't wait for the next Glory adventure.
