This is a great book! We used it in my macro economics class and I absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this book to other students!
Excellent supplement to standard Econ texts

Very good econ analysis--a collection of excellent articles taking on a number of sacred cows and "givens" and debunking or re-thinking them. One drawback is that it is written as an ancillary text or commentary on a standard Econ text, Colander's "Economics." The authors give page references to Colander, although they point out that "Real World Macro" will work with any standard text. The articles stand alone pretty well, though, and you don't need the Colander text or any other one to make sense. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the other-text issue, but maybe it should have been 4 1/2. If you'd like an intelligent, non-shrill critique of the philosophies behind the current free-market, capital-driven system, buy this book.
