Perez Hilton-self proclaimed 'Queen of All Media,' founder of Perez Hilton.com (the country's largest celebrity blog), and 'one of the most polarizing media figures since Howard Stern' (LA Weekly)-cuts loose with a book that should definitely secure his reputation as 'the most hated man in Hollywood' (Rolling Stone). Psycho celebs dominate news, fashion, and trends, Influencing how we speak, what we wear, and who we hang out with. We're obsessed! Our reality-based, gossip-driven world has set the barometer for what's in or out. So who are we trying to become and how do we become them! Well, post a grainy sex video online, drive high and wasted against oncoming traffic, flash your coochie for the cameras, and if those don't work, attempt suicide, and you're bound to become a 'Hilton.' Now the man behind 'Hollywood's most hated Web Site'*-infamous for breaking raw superstar dish and jaw-dropping commentary-lends his fearless voice, notorious sense of humour, and outrageous sensibility to Red Carpet Suicide , the book celebrities have been look forward to as much as their next DUI. Making sense of the madness and celebrity addiction that consume us, Perez twists this irresistible and delicious guilty pleasure into a hysterically funny, shockingly true, and generation-defining survival guide. 'So hold on to your hats. Bitches. It's going to be a wild ride,' * The Insider
This book is incredible. It is Perez Hilton at his best. He calls out many celebrities for what they are, shameful fame-whores. He points out obvious attemps from the people who are famous for being famous, "the hiltons," to keep their faces on magazine covers and he does this in a hilarious way. It is a very quick read because it is very good. I would buy anything else this man writes in a heartbeat.
Obsessed

Let's be honest... we are a culture that's obsessed with celebrity. You can deny it all you want, but admit it, you've wanted to see the Paris Hilton & Kim Kardashian sex tapes; the mug shots of all the celebrities that mess up; crotch shots of pantiless, talentless hacks... I myself log on to PerezHilton.com and tmz.com several times a day and I enjoy reading about the lives of celebrities - talented and untalented ones. He tells it like it is and people don't like that. He makes fun of the fact that people like Paris and Lindsay and Kim are all people who are famous for nothing. That's awesome! I loved the book because he tells it like it is! Perez rules!

I'm a daily reader of PerezHilton.com and this book doesn't disappoint! Perez takes celebutants and D-listers down a few notches by breaking down their formulaic rise to fame and how they've managed to stay beyond their welcome. It's an entertaining read from the Queen of Multimedia Mean.
Loves it!

An absolute must have for any PerezHilton.com fan or gossip lover. This is Perez's guide for how to become what he calls 'a hilton' which is someone who is famous, not because of their talent in the music or acting industry, but a famewhore. A 'hilton' steals the spotlight because of a DUI or anorexia or plastic surgery. A 'hilton' doesn't deserve the attention, but we love him/her anyway. Not only does Perez explain the tips and tricks of a 'hilton,' but he also adds funny pictures, such as that of the celebrity "air diet" (water, diet pills, and air). His amateur drawings add to the fun of the book. This book is not for anyone who is easily offended, doesn't like gossip, or dislikes meanness. If you don't want Perez to trash on some of the celebs, then go find a happier book. Perez tells it like it is and he's not afraid to talk some smack.
