Yes Redeemed...but how is a different story

I have listened to Hagin since 1978 so I am very familiar with his ministry and teachings. Most Word of Faith folks believe that we are redeemed from the curse of the Law according to Gal 3:13. But, I challenge those who think this to go back and read the verse in context. Yes, Jew and Gentile were redeemed through Christ, but according to scripture, those who are under the curse of the Law are the same folks who are under the Law. Now follow me: A Gentile was NEVER under the Law to begin with therefore, a Gentile is not redeemed from the curse of the Law for he was never under the Law to begin with. I challenge you to search the scriptures. Gentiles were never under the Law therefore, not under the curse of the Law.But, a Gentile is under the curse that was brought through Adam and is redeemed from this curse through being grafted into the same blessing stream once only enjoyed by the Jews. So, Hagin is correct to say that we are redeemed. I just believe that the way it is taught in modern charismatic christianity falls short of accuracy.
Redeemed!

This book shows us that sickness is of the devil, and that Jesus redeemed us from it. Some people quote from "my bible" which means from their own understanding, and not the Word's. Before I read this book, my own understanding was that sickness and poverty was of God, and that Jesus made it available to us when he died for us to redeem us from health and prosperity. Gosh, "my bible" was sure uphended when I found out that Jesus was the good guy and the devil was the bad guy. Sure, Paul left Trophimus sick, but Paul didn't carry healing power around with him. Gradual healings are mentioned in the Bible, and this verse only back up what the Bible teaches, not what "someone's bible" says. You understand that Hagin didn't cover ever detail in this book about healing that there is to know. In fact, only one third of this book is directed towards healing, as you can see by the title, so you don't get single issue mentioned in this book. However, you will find truths and scriptures verifying that Jesus redeemed from sickness, not health like others would have you believe.
One of my favorite books

What a great book. This explains, with scripture, why we are redeemed from the curse of the law(the curse found in deut28) this book uses Galations 3:13 as well, which says we are redeemed from the curse of the law,Jesus being made a curse for us...The curse includes sickness, poverty, and spirtual death, also in deut 28 it reads every sickness that is not written in this book. Thanks be to God who sent his son to bear our sin, and became a curse for us, so we didn't have to become a curse. Adam set the curse into motion, and Jesus redeemed us from it. My husband and I bothe really enjoyed and grew with this great book.
