This book should be standard equipment for ministers and christian counselors as well as required reading for engaged couples. Karl very accurately describes the rewards of righteousness and the consequences of sin. This is not a "cookie-cutter" how-to book that describes methods and strategies but rather a book that brings forth a Godly perspective on fulfilling our roles as husbands and wives. This is not about doing the right thing with a cheery attitude but rather about uncovering what God's intentions are for men and women. I originally bought this book because I thought it would give me tools to use to restore my marriage. What I got was so much more because it gave me insight into God's desire for holiness in my life and how it or lack of it affects those around me. I know the author personally and strongly believe that this book is a spirit-led revelation of God's design for men and women.
