#1 New York Times bestselling author Iris Johansen offers readers a classic tale of a love that seems impossible--and a hunger that is undeniable. Jenny Cashman longs to escape the refined, rarified... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a great read. This is a classic Iris Johansen Loveswept novel. The heroine was fun, cute and sassy, and always getting into one scrape or another that the hero has to get her out from. It is a sweet, cute tale about a heroine and hero where the hero wants to take care of the heroine, but she wants to be independent, hoping that it will help the hero notice she is all grown up now. This book links to Iris Johansen's next Loveswept novel "No Red Roses" with the hero from that book being introduced with a big "splash" in "Return to Santa Flores". The only real detractor is the age difference between the hero and heroine, but Iris uses it to her advantage, making the age difference an obstacle the heroine has to get the hero to overcome before they can live happily ever after. Other than the age factor, there are a few things that "date" the story, but don't really get in the way of the fun read.
