Mr. Johnson of Wheaton College has written this exegetical commentary which interprets the book of Revelation rather than apply it to our lives. He takes a futuristic view, that the events (after the opening letters to seven churches) have not happened yet. However, he does deal with the historical background of the first century, and how the events and images of that time relate to the future events. He is very matter of fact, he does not exaggerate or try to force modern events into the Revelation.
