Rhode Island's Old Trucks Today: 1921 to 1979 includes over 175 trucks in over 200 full color photographs of this time period. When the author decided to do a series of books on old cars he had no intention of doing old trucks. Due to the request of so many truck enthusiasts you now hold in your hands his answer to their request. Some folks have found the "one" and have no intention of restoring it. They just drive it and enjoy it. Some have done unbelievable custom body work and paint schemes. Each person has their own idea and story. He has traveled from Woonsocket to Westerly and Nasonville to Newport in search of old cars and trucks to photograph. If it was not raining, he was at an event somewhere. People commented; "Ray must have cloned himself because he is everywhere." Raymond A. Wolf is a lifelong resident of the Village of Hope in the Town of Scituate, Rhode Island. He has written six history books in the Images of America series by Arcadia Publishing and six books in the Gramma Larson Remembers series by Wolf Publishing. His books on Rhode Island's old cars and trucks will add to his Today series.
