Richard Scarry's Naughty Bunny is now back in print as a Little Golden Book!
Beloved Richard Scarry has created one of his most endearingly naughty characters ever. Little bunny doesn't deliberately try to be naughty, but more often than not, that's exactly what happens. Whether he is startling his mother with a loud TV, drawing on the wall, or making a fuss at nap time, this little bunny proves that even the naughtiest of children can be the most loveable. LITTLE GOLDEN BOOKS have been loved by children for over 75 years. When they were first published in 1942, high-quality books for children hadn't been available at a price most people could afford. Little Golden Books changed that! Priced at just 25 cents and sold where people shopped every day, they caused an instant sensation and were soon purchased by the hundreds of thousands. Created by such talented writers as Margaret Wise Brown (author of Goodnight Moon) and Richard Scarry, Little Golden Books have helped millions of children develop a lifelong love of reading. Today, Little Golden Books feature beloved classics such as The Poky Little Puppy and Scuffy the Tugboat, hot licenses, and new original stories--the classics of tomorrow, ready to be discovered between their sturdy cardboard covers and gold-foil spines.
I love this book...but who cares what I love...in picking out books for kids...it's what they love that matters. My four kids and my little nephews absolutely adore this book. They are tickled pink to see the bunny misbehave. I think it's a nice way of showing kids that even if they get into trouble, their parents still love them. And really...what's not to love in any book illustrated by Richard Scarry!
Cute book for kids who get into trouble because of manners

This book can be for parents who want there kids to learn the responsibilitys of manners or it can be for kids who just want to have fun reading this book because they will get taught there manners but in a fun way. I think this book is great and how they used bunnys as an example of bad behavior is so cute.
Outstanding bedtime reading for your own "naughty bunnies"

The late Richard Scarry at his literary and artistic best. The "naughty bunny" has much to learn in terms of his relationship to both his parents and friends. Tastefully drawn are the consequences of overstimulating one's mother with 130 dB of television audio (a hairbrush appears to have been employed) as well as what happens to the purveyor of tattled-tales (kersplat). This book provides the impetus for any number of side-tales you may or may not wish to share about your own life as a "naughty bunny." There is substantial ambiguity in terms of certainty / severity of punishment, so don't expect this book to ever make the Politically Correct Top-100 childrens' book list. Richard Scarry's "Naughty Bunny" is a timeless classic waiting to be installed in your home library. Ten years after discovering it at a discounted, out-of-print book sale my children can still quote many of the vignettes. See if you honestly would handle the "naughty angel" wall-painting event at the book's end as well as his mother did!
