Romans: The Free Woman

The theme of this study is the Free Woman from the Inside Out. According to Romans 8:1-2, There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set YOU FREE in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and of death.The book of Romans reveals answers to important questions about the foundations of the Christian faith and the key to living freely in the Good News of Jesus Christ. Sadly, the lives of many Christians do not reflect the Good News of their faith because they have not taken hold of the finished work of Christ. Instead, they strive unsuccessfully to attaina perfection and righteousness on their own, rather than accessing the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit to help them live lives worthy of their calling and become more like Jesus. God has incredible work to do in our lives. He desires for us to walk each day with Him knowing that we are His "works in progress" and it is only in His power that we canboast! By receiving and living out this Good News. the Free Woman is truly freed indeed from the law of sin and death that once reigned in her body and is able to experience victory over sinful, personal desires through our Lord Jesus Christ. The book of Romans encourages us to be women who stand unashamed and confident in what the Gospelhas done in our own lives as we become living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God. As astruggling world looks on, we can offer no better testimony to the power of Jesus Christ to save those who are lost, than allowing God to work in us and through us for our good and to His glory!
