Some Great Ideas
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
I like the idea of making things out of items destined for the trash heap, and this book presents some useful ideas. In most cases the end results are items that come out looking cool and stylish that would look nice in my home, and that I wouldn't mind giving out as gifts. There are detailed directions for different projects as well as some ideas to inspire you to come up with projects of your own. The detailed instructions are well-illustrated and clear. My only complaint is that some of the projects involve way too many steps or too much extra material. For example it's probably a lot easier to simply recycle an aluminum can than to go through all the work necessary to make one little pendant from a piece of aluminum can.
Cool Book

In this book there are a few interesting ideas to recycle, reuse, transform things. I wouldn't say it is absolutely crazy and revolutionary, but it's interesting and deserves to be read. In this field, any good idea is welcome as we never recycle enough. If it can teach people to be a little more careful when it's about throwing, it would be good. So many perfect things are thrown away with no reason ! Conclusion : it's a book to read. Yael, California
