This is the BEST book for Russian language beginners.

For an American learning Russian as a businessperson, this book is wonderful for teaching all the essential points of Russian grammar with a very easy-to-understand logic. I highly recommend it for anyone who is a beginner of Russian but wants to learn more than salutations and a handful of phrases. It provides a base for actually constructing sentences in Russian. To cover this material in three months, however, takes a concerted commitment on the part of the reader. It may be a thin book, but it is packed with information.
