This review is a collaborative writing project completed by a "Technology and Ethics" class at DeVry University in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is based on a quick look at the book under consideration. This book has an appropriate title: it discusses how to keep home and business computers safe and secure. It is very informative; it explains the different options that users have to protect their investments in computer technology. It provides enough detail to be of genuine assistance to readers: for instance, it doesn't simply say, "Watch out for viruses!" Rather, it explains the different types of computer viruses and gives guidelines for responding to them. It also helps readers distinguish between viruses and virus hoaxes. The book is well organized, making it user-friendly. All in all, this looks like a helpful book.
Very informative book

Man I thought I was secure online before. This book has proved me wrong and showed me how to become secure. If you think installing "Zone Alarm" is enough to be safe online, you are wrong. It is well written and reads within a weekend. Well worth the time and money.
