This is a book that sensitively portrays the world as experienced by a blind child. Rodriguez invites the reader into the world and heart of a blind girl who, in the sudden power failure during a sleepover, exhibits courageousness and resourcefulness. Not didactic, but enlightening, this is a book that demystifies blindness for the very young. The illustrations are comforting and lovely. Highly recommended for everyone.
