This is the first time Im reading anything by Ms. Moore..and I must say that this book was fantastic!I has the pleasure of meeting Ms. Moore at the Harlem Book Fair and she talked me into gettin the book, as a matter of fact her book was the first one I purchased that day..lol London and her twin sister Kenya were definitely opposites...You had one who like to shine(spotlight) and you had one that was heavily into her books(school).Parents died tragically.. and for the most part the twins are close.. I truly enjoyed this story..and I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Moore.

This book was mad good i finished it in a couple of hours, made me mad how it ended b/c i read a year ago so i had to reread since i got part 2. so far im not really impressed with part 2 it is taking toooo long to get to the point but once i finish it i will let you guys know the outcome.
can't wait for the sequel

From reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure if I should get this book or not, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. This book was very good and kept me on the edge throughout the book: I met London-who has her head on straight, going to school and trying to focus; Kenya-school is the last thing on her mind, willin' to do whatever it is to survive, has mad love for her twin sister, London. Together the author set us on the road with these two twins as they grow up together and learn about the life the hard-way. I wish to say more but once I start writing; I know I'll probably tell the whole book :) Get the book you won't be disappointed!
