Not as entertaining as its successor

I was surprised to realize that this is a prequel to 'Do you want to cause a Scandal' which is infinitely better.
The basic premise of Say Yes is a little hard to swallow and the whole story less entertaining. The subsidiary characters are rather vague too. I finished it but this is below Ms Dare's usual standards and, for me, not a keeper.
