This book was such an eye opener for me. I realized that so much of what I went thru after I gave my son up for adoption was completely normal.My thanks and appreciation to Patricia Roles for sharing her experience and wisdom in this book.

I am planning on placing my baby for adoption and I have found this book very helpful in knowing what is to come, in terms of the grief I will be experiencing after the baby's placement. It is quite thorough and and covers many aspects of adoption from a birthmother's point of view, from making the decision, to the baby's birth, to dealing with feelings after placement. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering adoption for their baby.
