This book was really good but unscary. I would've rated it a five if it were more scary. But I don't blame Jahnna N. Malcolm, scaring is a hard thing to do. I'm working my way to a different Apple Chillers book called the Girl In The Window. It should be as good as this!
Totally Awesome!! Wonderful for Classroom Reading!

I have read this book for the past serveral years to my students. It keeps them on the edge of their seats waiting for more to come. Sometimes I will stop in the middle of the book and reshelve the book. This usually has them standing in line waiting to check it out to read the rest. The possibilities are endless as to what you can do with this book for your cross curriculum teaching.!
This is a great book for anyone looking for some chills...

When I first read this book, I couldn't put it down...I wanted to know what was going to happen to Chase, Kelly, and Matt, and the story, though at first glance seems juvenille and uninspired, is actually engrossing. Scared Stiff made me want to read other books by this exciting husband & wife duo!
