In love with these series!!!!!

My two grandsons ages 12 and 13 are hooked on these books. I'm sure that they identify in someway to some or one of the characters in the series. They read them like a sponge soaks up water. I'm also sure that they have acquaintances who either are or have been some of these situations. They are intrigued by these books.

When I layed eyes on this book was when I had to go get a free book out of the library. I saw the cover of the book and it put me in a state of shock because it looked so good. I picked up the book and walked out of the library and went to class with a big smile on my face. Once i entered the class I started reading my new book Search for Safety by John Langan. It has lots of interesting parts.

SEARCH FOR SAFETY Ben McKee is going through things that's you can't even imagine. He's dealing with the fact that he has to move from his aunt's apartment to a worst looking apartment on Union, Street. He's moving to the apartment with his mother and her horrible husband Larry. Ben is always getting beat up by Larry and has nobody to save him. The only way he can get help is from his aunt Fay but she is going out of state for a while. Ben needs to find away to stay out of Larry's way and try to survive at his new school Bluford High School. I recommend that this book is a fantastic novel

As a teenager Ben goes thourgh some changes in life. His mother and him try to escape the abuse of his stepfather. Larry the stepfather looses his job and abuses Ben and his mother. Ben's aunt that helps to protect him goes to visit a family member. As Ben gets older he gets a job, in turn his stepfather takes his paychecks and he looses a friend. When the aunt comes back from her visit, she saves Ben and his mother.

The book report I'm doing the review on is a search for safety. It's about a boy named Ben & his mother end up in a abusive environment. He gets bullied in school. Then his aunt comes back to rescue them. Then finally his mother's boyfriend gets caught. Ben would always have bruises all over his body. Ben got a job @ a little corner store.
