Ijust got done reading a fabulous book called Second-Hand Magic. There are 2 main charactors named Paul and Caroline. Paul and Caroline find a kite up in a tree. The author is Ruth Chew. Ruth thought of a charactor named Clement Ellswerth. Clem likes to be called Clem. Clem always follows Paul and Caroline around. Iwould give this book 5 stars because of good detail and good writing.

The author and illustrator, Ruth Chew, did a very nice job with the pictures and telling the story. Her imagination was very nice. The kite was the best part, because it wasn't like any other kite.If you read this book you will enjoy it.

A magic kite takes Paul and Caroline to where ever their hearts desire. One of their adventures is to a beach with a boardwalk nearby. If you like Harry Potter you'll love this book.

We read this book in school, and I thought it was very good. It's written in the same style as the Harry Potter books, full of magic and suprises. The kids, Paul and Caroline, are sibblings that are growing up in Brooklyn. In the park, they find a kite that is very special. But a mysterous stranger wants to take it away from them. The children need it back!
