Great Fun, lovely and interesting

I have had this book since I was a little girl, when it was frustrating to never be able to find an alabaster jar, or a bag made of a sheeps bladder. Not being able to perform the fancy spells laid down did not take away from the wonder I felt for the book. It has fun little poems, and warnings, to help you in luck and love. Every time I eat an hard boiled egg, I think "break the shell to bits for fear, the witches make a boat my dear, for over the sea, awar from home, far by night the witches roam" It doesn't have to mean anything, I just always liked it. This is not likely to ever have been claimed to be an acurate magical giude, it is just a fun book for kids. I always really liked the colorful pictures too.
