Women of all ages should have a copy of this book! The humor that Michelle Medlock Adams uses throughout this book is brilliant! In today's society there is so much pressure on women to look a certain way. The thing I love about this book is that it points us back to life changing reminders of what really matters. I want to make a difference in this world and the real life application of this book is perfect for the day to day. It is a reminder of being excited about who we are and what we CAN do by looking at Godly prinicples every day! Keep it in your car, by your bed and close at hand. I loved it!

This 60-day devotional really challenged me to reevaluate the way I view beauty. The writer uses humor throughout the book, which I really liked. Also, I like the way she tied in contemporary, practical information with biblical truths about true beauty. I finished this book feeling renewed and refreshed, knowing that true beauty only comes through the Lord. And, I also came away with some great practical tips that I am putting to use! Highly recommended.

We, as women, seem to be under a lot of pressure to be perfect. (or at least look perfect) But this book is an excellent reality check of what true beauty really is, and what it isn't. It isn't about whether I'm a size 2, but it IS about the condition of my heart and having a healthy perception of my self-worth.
