Lauber offers readers . . . a new way to understand the earth. . . . The full-color graphics (most supplied by NASA) begin with the . . . view of Earth from the moon, then move on to pictures taken by astronauts orbiting the planet and remote sensing images relayed from satellites. . . . Well researched, clearly written, and beautifully made, this eye-opening book represents nonfiction at its best.--Booklist, starred review.
The book shows a lot of unusual picture showing our planet. It made me understand the Earth more easier while I'm reading the facts written in the book. Also, because of the great picture on the book, it made it more fun and interesting to read. The book also, asked the readers to help our planet live by taking care of the environment which makes it a great and good book. I have learned a lot. I hope that make a new one with newer picture in the future.
Seeing Earth From Space is awesome

Seen from space this Earth appears so very small & fragile, with a thin shell of atmosphere. With breathtaking illustrations we soar above the world & are given a god's eye view. With watershed photos taken predominantly by NASA from the Apollo missions & the Space Shuttle, this author has written a wondrous tour guide to the heavens. Awesome & fun! A must. END
