Yet the poems find grace in this effort to settle-in to the unsettling; hold mercy for the circumstance, as the collection's opening poem states, of being "Just a creature making my way."
Mark Belair's poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Alabama Literary Review, Harvard Review, and Michigan Quarterly Review.
