Five friends unite together, after an Asteroid traveling between our planet and the moon (like recent news events) hits a band of space trash and is deflected toward earth. The asteroid strikes the planet with such impact, that it sets the rotation back three seconds causing major earthquakes and tectonic activity. These friends from Birmingham Alabama set out for New Orleans, which is one of three centers in the U.S. where food and supplies are being sent in from around the world. They confront modern day pirates and violent gangs as they make there way down the Mississippi river. The storyline delivers both action and suspense with love and redemption woven throughout.
