Unlike the previous reviewer, I liked this book tremendously. Minor spelling errors aside, the message comes through loud and clear. The author's ability to convey the importance of balancing healthy attitude with healthy sexual practices is unique in our fear mongering society. She teaches us that you can maintain a margin of safety while truly enjoying physical connection. The data she provides on the current infection causes and rates of infection are obviously well researched and up to date. For myself, she was able to ease my fears with good hard knowledge about how to protect myself in intimate situations, so that I can comfortably enjoy my sexuality.
