If you want to read a good "traditional" western, written by one of the best of the best in the business, I highly recommend this book. It has all the ingredients--the loner, the land grabber, the undecided woman on which man to believe in, and a battle of wills and of guns. Orde Fraser had come to claim what was his by legal right, but Turk Roderick was building himself an empire of his own, and that included the Shoshone Lake range belonging to Fraser. There are more characters in this book which I am sure you will never forget, including Poe Darby, a pipe smoking, tougher than leather rangler who did his best for the man he worked for. Get this book and read a great story.
